THURSDAY 5TH JUNE

Woke up to the sound of heavy rain on the roof of the conservatory. We haven't done so bad with weather this year but we hope tomorrow will be fine. Get all of the rain out of the clouds today !

Rallies round the Island including the big one at Laxey. So there is still plenty to do. However today sees the end of my experiment with the dongle/aircard. It has been very useful and has made everything upload so much faster. In previous years I had to use a land line which took ages and banned me to midnight updatings with lots of coffee. Furthermore, I could sit most places on the island, see my e-mails, look at the various webcams and on practice and race days follow the races out on the course.I am convinced that I cannot do without a dongle/aircard from now on so I will visit my local dongle people when I get home.
